“I created the inner doorway help you to find peace and serenity every day.
This is the closest I have got to painting the experience of practicing stillness.
It has some helpful pointers for you to experience who you really are, in stillness.
Firstly, theres you at the centre of the piece. You are poised, centred and calm. You are walking into the light. You are held up on a surface that doesn’t appear able to support your weight. Yet… it does.
This water represents inner stillness. You are reflected in the water. You are contemplating the depths of your being.
Down the left and right of the piece, is a delicately painted veil. Its built up of textures, and flow and movement. This represents your constant flow of thoughts. This veil has parted. You have found a way past the veil of your thinking, and into stillness.
The light that emanates from your body, is your presence…. Your aliveness.
And your aliveness is where you will find everything you need. Wisdom, power, strength. Everything.
Its all inside you.
