"Transformation," as a concept, was going on for a long time inside me before I could express it.
I first articulated these when I was travelling through Australia. I was going through a lot of change myself.
Its based on two things. The first is a vision of how the world would change if people would fan into flame their deep gifts, spirituality and compassion. If we chose to develop our faith, our hope, our love. In doing this we would burn back the mediocrity, the "take" attitude and our short sightedness which seems to pervade our current age.
The blue gives way to life and light and passion, and moves towards harmony. The sixth frame of "transformation" is figurative of a world network of balanced harmonious relationships where our differences are accepted and respected, and perceived as our balancing strengths.
Since painting them its been amazing hearing what other people see in them. "The beginning of the universe", "A virus spreading", "Two people becoming one", "A process of organisational change."
All of these are true interpretations. It seems as though "Transformation" could be a visual representation of all types of change.
