Leaves ripen -
stretching out
and connecting.
"Faith" is about stretching out for those things that we know are there, but not tangible to our physical senses. We "feel" them, but cant touch them. By stretching out we find sources and depth that we never knew were there. Its based on a tree that grow in Australia that extends a 200ft tap root down to underground streams. Thats why it can grown in places that nothing else can.
Its why when we live our dreams - our lives are glorious.
It also poses the question... how did it (and our faith) evolve? Which came first - the tap root or the leaves? A root cannot grow without energy from the sun. Leaves cant grow without water. When we push out the full extent of our faith we often find paradox and seeming contradiction. The trick is to accept that and be comfortable with it.
If its to be is upto me? Or everything happens for a reason?
Maybe both are true.
